Sam Conn, MA
Hello, I’m Sam. I’m a professional counselor actively working toward full licensure. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University and am currently practicing under the clinical supervision of Tonia Parlier, LPC/MHSP(S), ACS, NCC.
I specialize in supporting adult women, young adults, and teens navigating the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My therapeutic work is grounded in a deep respect for each client’s unique story, and I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental space where healing can begin.
I am trained and currently working toward certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach proven effective for trauma and emotional distress. Recognizing that traditional talk therapy isn't the right fit for everyone, I incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
My approach is collaborative and holistic—I work alongside my clients to develop a personalized plan that honors their lived experiences and fosters meaningful growth. For those who desire it, I am also happy to integrate faith or spirituality into the therapeutic process, creating space for a more comprehensive path to healing.
Outside of my work as a counselor, I enjoy spending time outdoors, catching a good hockey game, getting lost in a great book, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
I’m honored to walk alongside my clients in their healing journey and look forward to supporting you as you take this next step.
